Building upon the success of the initial aws Gründerfonds I, aws Gründungsfonds II with a volume of over EUR 72 million has been raised in 2023.

Partnering with experienced co-investors, we are investing in promising early-stage Austrian-based startups. As seed stage investor we support startups starting from their first growth phase over various follow-on financing rounds (Series A/B) up to an exit.

We see ourselves as a long-term and stable partner with hands-on mentality supporting founders as active sparring partners. Since 2013, we have invested more than EUR 500 million in 46 companies with local and international co-investors and we were able to achieve numerous successful exits.
